Butterfly Dance Academy has been in the business of educating dancers for more than 35 years.

Cheryl Specht, Artistic Director of the academy, is a Charter Member of the National Dance Education Org. and is an Affiliate of the American Academy of Ballet Performance Awards, New York and has an American Dance Accreditation in Jazz and Tap as well as a membership in the National Dance Association.

All the instructors at Butterfly treat each student with patience and respect as we teach the joy of dance. We tailor each student's instruction to meet their individual needs and

strive to give each student confidence in their abilities as dancers and individuals.

Each dance season our students are given dance performance evaluations. These evaluations are in the form of a performance for family friends and instructors. All students are given certificates for their hard work and improvement. These performance evaluations are in addition to our end of the season performances. We give one performance for our beginning students and a separate performance for our intermediate and advanced students.
